~ The ARPANET — PRESENTED BY 000 ~
The Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET) was the first
wide-area packet-switched network with distributed control and one of
the first computer networks to implement the TCP/IP protocol suite.

Both technologies became the technical foundation of the Internet.

The technological advancements and practical applications achieved
through the ARPANET were instrumental in shaping modern computer networking,
including the Internet. Development of packet switching, decentralized
networks, and communication protocols laid the groundwork for a global
network that revolutionized communication and collaboration.

Today, the Internet has branched far beyond its humble beginnings.
No longer confined to the limits of 1969 — go further, push forth,
and blaze trails for generations to come.
